Benefits Of Tension And Trauma Release Exercises

1.  Reducing stress and anxiety

Tension and trauma release exercises (Tre™) have been shown to be extremely effective in reducing stress and anxiety. This is something a lot of parents I work with deal with and a major roadblock for their young adults who are struggling to become independent. Research is showing that Tre™ also significantly reduces symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Research also shows that people have a massive reduction in the number of panic attacks and anxiety after about 12 weeks of practicing Tre™ regularly.


2.  Improving sleep quality

Tre™ is also shown to greatly improve sleep quality. One study found that Tre™ was even able to significantly improve sleep quality in individuals struggling with chronic insomnia. The study found that participants who regularly use Tre™ slept deeper, and for longer periods of time. They also reported less daytime fatigue and better concentration.


3.  Reducing pain

Tre™ is an effective treatment for reducing pain because pain is often exacerbated when stress levels are high and sleep quality is low. Many participants in the Tre™ research studies reported having less pain, and even an increased range of motion compared to those who were not doing any time of tension-relieving exercise.


4.  Increasing energy levels

The greatest benefit of getting great sleep and having less stress is the enormous increase in energy levels! Some of Dr. Berceli's (the pioneer of Tre™ exercises) lead researchers to believe there could be a link between Tre™ and an increase in levels of serotonin (that's the hormone responsible for feelings of happiness and well-being). This belief is rooted in the fact that many of the research participants report having an increase in energy levels and marked improvement in moods compared.


5.  Improving mental health

Overall, Tre™ shows an incredible benefit in improving mental health. Those in the research studies, and thousands of others who have given testimony all agree that Tre™ is associated with significant improvements in their depression, anxiety, and stress levels.
